What to Expect from P-Shot Therapy

Calla Genics' P-Shot procedure starts by extracting the patient's blood and concentrating the blood's healing factors (like stem cells and other growth factors). From there, the patient's white and red blood cells are separated in a centrifuge, which spins the blood at high speeds until it separates. From there, the patient's concentrated healing factors are injected into their penile region.

Calla Genics' P-Shot treatment is hassle-free and pain-free and can usually be completed in less than an hour right here at our P-shot clinic in Clewiston.

P-Shot Therapy and Botox for Erectile Dysfunction

For men with serious cases of erectile dysfunction, Calla Genics offers our P-Shot with the added bonus of Botox for increased effectiveness. We know what you're thinking: "Isn't Botox meant for women? I don't care about the wrinkles on my face; I just want help with my ED."

While it's true that Botox is most commonly associated with female anti-wrinkle treatment, researchers believe it can help with male ED as well. Botox—which is technically a bacterial toxin with the name botulinum—smooths out wrinkles by blocking nerve impulses that cause muscle contractions.

That same mechanism may help men achieve erections. Botox can interrupt the release of norepinephrine, which restricts blood flow. But it doesn't affect the release of nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is a crucial element in achieving an erection since it relaxes smooth muscle and causes blood to engorge the penis.

Because of the nature of Botox, research shows that it may give men enhanced erections for months. Older men with particularly severe ED may see the most significant improvements. As an added bonus, Botox may work for males who have physiological erectile dysfunction (caused by blood flow issues) and psychogenic ED (triggered by physiological factors).

P-Shot Treatment for Peyronie's Disease

While the P-Shot can work wonders for men experiencing performance and erectile issues, the P-Shot has other uses. One of the most important and revolutionary issues the P-Shot treats is called Peyronie's disease.

Found in nearly 10% of all men in the U.S., Peyronie's disease is a common problem that can affect a man's sexual activity and sex life. Essentially, Peyronie's disease is the medical label used to describe an abnormal curve or bend in a patient's penis. Though it's very common for a man to have a slight bend in their penis, men suffering from Peyronie's disease experience significant pain, especially when trying to achieve an erection. Because of the nature of the disease, Peyronie's is linked to male erectile dysfunction.

Peyronie's disease is often caused by a previous injury or damage to a man's penis via sexual intercourse or physical activity. Some of the most common symptoms of Peyronie's disease include:

  • Painful Erections
  • Unusually Soft Erections
  • Extreme Penis Curvature
  • Significant Difficulty Having Sexual Intercourse
  • Lumps Found in the Penis

Living with Peyronie's disease makes life quite difficult. Unfortunately, we're discovering that this malady is more prevalent than we once thought. That's probably because more and more men are coming forward to talk about their ED. We understand if you're suffering from Peyronie's disease but are reluctant to speak to a professional due to embarrassment. However, if you're sick and tired of living with Peyronie's and want to reclaim your sex life, Calla Genics' P-Shot may be the long-term solution you need.

The alternative to the P-Shot involves "traditional" treatments like penile stretching devices and penile implants, which sometimes involve vacuum technology and invasive procedures. If you're cringing a little just reading those words, Calla Genics' P-Shot is the way to go for Peyronie's disease treatment.

How Fast Does the P-Shot Work?

Results vary for every patient, but in general, many men discover relief soon after their first P-Shot treatment. If you're a man struggling to achieve and keep an erection, Calla Genics' P-Shot should help you almost immediately. Other enhancements, like more penis girth and size, can take longer.

What Side Effects Should I Know About?

Because our P-Shot treatment in Clewiston uses a patient's own blood, there is no risk for harmful side effects or allergic reactions. It's a pain-free treatment that we perform right here at our male sexual health center, and is usually over in 30 minutes or less.

How Much Does Calla Genics' P-Shot Cost?

Pricing varies depending on our patient's needs. Compared to other erectile dysfunction treatments, P-Shot therapy is relatively inexpensive. Since there are no oral medications or pills to take, patients don't have to worry about refilling prescriptions. The P-Shot is also much less expensive than surgical options, which require multiple doctor's appointments, follow-ups, and more.

The Benefits of Combining Gainswave and P-Shot Therapy in Clewiston, FL

Studies published via the International Society for Sexual Medicine found that Gainswave treatments display significant, positive results that can last as long as 12 months. And while low-intensity shockwave therapy is proven to provide significant improvement in erectile function, Gainswave doesn't have to be used all on its own.

For the most effective male enhancement treatment, many men are combining Calla Genics' Gainswave therapy with our P-Shot treatments. These two revolutionary ED treatments feed off one another to provide a doubly-beneficial effect. In medicine, we call it a synergistic effect.

The platelet-rich plasma from the P-Shot can help open up a patient's blood vessels in their penis. This can actually enhance the effectiveness of Gainswave therapy. Conversely, Gainswave treatments can help stimulate healing factors used in the P-Shot, essentially sending PRP deeper into a patient's damaged penis tissue.

How Bocox™ Can Help You!

Here at Calla Genics, we have now been doing the P-Shot® procedure for years with much success and with a significant body of medical research that supports the procedure. In the studies below, you will notice that we have added units of BOTOX, which the recommended dose showed effectiveness up to 6 months with maximal effect at 6 weeks.

The mechanism of action of BOTOX in the penis seems to be partly due to the relaxation of the smooth muscle of the arterioles, resulting in increased blood flow (and even in a small increase in length in one study). This increase in erection firmness by increasing arterial flow is exactly how Viagra and Tri-mix injections work. In two separate studies, the injection of BOTOX was helpful to some men (not all) for whom Viagra and Cialis had quit working.

BOTOX, at much higher doses, has been used for 2 decades for various problems with an extremely safe history. The P-Shot 100™ procedure is a specific method of injecting blood-derived growth factors, including platelet-rich plasma (or platelet-rich fibrin matrix) and botulinum neurotoxin, to improve the health of the penis and enhance the size or function of the penis. The procedure includes patient selection, method of preparation of materials, method of injection, aftercare, and more.

Suppose someone wants Botox alone injected into the penis. In that case, we have the Bocox™ (BoPriapus) procedure: a specific method of injecting the corpus cavernosi of the penis with botulinum neurotoxin (BoNT)–BOTOX– to improve penile tissue health and to enhance erectile function or penis size.

Our Guarantee: You will see results. If you are not pleased with the results of your procedure for any reason, you can get a full refund for the procedure for up to 3 months.

CLEWISTON, Fla. – Today, as the Senate begins drafting the upcoming Farm Bill, Senator Rick Scott visited Clewiston, Florida and joined Congressman Scott Franklin and Florida Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Services Wilton Simpson for a discussion on the issues facing the Florida agricultural industry and growers across the Sunshine State. Senator Scott continues to fight for Florida’s agriculture industry in Washington through the upcoming Farm Bill and other legislation to make sure these hardworking individuals and businesses have the support they need to thrive and keep Fresh from Florida products on tables across the nation.

Earlier this week, Senator Scott introduced his Federal Disaster Responsibility Act to provide emergency relief for natural disasters, following the devastating landfall of major Category 3 Hurricane Idalia in Florida’s Big Bend. This bill will ensure Florida families, agricultural communities and all Americans facing hardships following natural disasters are taken care of. Senator Marco Rubio joined as a cosponsor of the bill and Congresswoman Kat Cammack is leading the companion legislation in the House of Representatives.

Senator Rick Scott said, “Florida’s agriculture industry is known around the world and the success of our state wouldn’t be possible without our growers and ranchers. Unfortunately, things are tough for hardworking families in our state right now as prices keep rising and natural disasters cause mass losses of crops and livestock. I know Florida’s agricultural communities have been laser focused on hurricane recovery following Hurricanes Ian and Idalia—and I'm fighting to make sure they get all the disaster relief they deserve. I’m working on several bills, like my Federal Disaster Responsibility Act, to help support our growers and ranchers and ensure our Florida agriculture industry has all the resources and help it needs to recover from the many challenges they have faced in the last several years. I’ve been fighting to support Florida’s agricultural community and will continue to do so by securing big wins for our growers and ranchers in the Farm Bill that make sure the federal government is a partner, not another layer of burdensome bureaucracy. I want to thank Commissioner Simpson for his efforts in Florida and support of my Federal Disaster Responsibility Act. We must continue working together with our local, state and federal partners to ensure all Floridians get the assistance they deserve.”

Senator Scott’s Federal Disaster Responsibility Act includes:

· Fully funding the immediate needs of FEMA’s Disaster Relief Fund with at least $16.5 billion to ensure the federal government can uphold its obligation to quickly deploy emergency funding and resources to communities and Americans impacted by natural disasters. This exceeds what the Biden administration has said is needed to respond to recent disasters, including those in Florida and Hawaii.

· Ensuring final passage of the bipartisan Block Grant Assistance Act which provides needed authority for the U.S. Department of Agriculture to issue block grants to Florida’s citrus growers, Georgia’s peach growers and all U.S. agriculture producers devastated by natural disasters in 2022.

· Securing final passage of an expanded version of the Hurricane Tax Relief Act, which takes care of Americans impacted by disasters by providing disaster-loss tax relief to families who have been impacted by qualified disasters for purposes of enhanced disaster casualty loss tax relief. This would apply across the nation and include relief for taxpayers in Hawaii, California, Illinois, Florida and others. This bill modifies the deduction for personal casualty losses in the hurricane disaster areas, waiving the requirements for impacted taxpayers to itemize deductions and to have losses that exceed 10% of adjusted gross income. Congress previously extended this tax relief for hurricanes Irma, Wilma, Dorian, and Michael, amongst others.

· Committing necessary funds and resources to Florida’s military installations to fully rebuild and recover from hurricane damage.

CLEWISTON -- Florida Senator Rick Scott joined Congressman Scott Franklin, Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson, Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association President Mike Joiner and Florida Farm Bureau President Jeb Smith for a roundtable discussion at the Sept. 8 celebration hosted by the Florida Agribusiness Council at the John Boy Auditorium in Clewiston.

Topics of discussion included the labor shortage, competition with imported food and the upcoming Farm Bill.

Franklin said trade bills are of special concern to Florida farmers, because they often pit Florida against Midwestern states. In order to gain access to a foreign market to export a crop grown in the Midwest, the U.S. agrees to allow those countries to export crops like winter vegetables to the U.S. -- competing with Florida farmers who grow the same crops. He said it’s not a level playing field because farmers in other countries do not have to meet the same standards for wages and health and safety measures required in Florida.

Scott said it’s dangerous to rely on imports from other countries for our food supply. The food supply is a matter of national security, he added.

He said it is important for everyone to write letters and speak out on the issues that matter to them.

Smith encouraged consumers to look for the “Fresh from Florida” sticker when shopping for food. He said the freshfromflorida.com website has recipes that incorporate seasonal Florida produce.

Following the discussion, Scott, Franklin, Simpson, Smith and Joiner met with farmers and ranchers.

Tables lined the room with samples of Florida’s bounty including shrimp, beef, chicken, alligator, strawberries, watermelon, tomatoes, corn, celery and cheese. Outside the auditorium, Milking R Dairy served up delicious ice cream in a variety of flavors.

The Clewiston High School Public Safety Academy provided the honor guard for the opening ceremony. The Moore Haven Middle High School Chorus sang the National Anthem.

“Right now, we are hiring engineers, engineering technicians, electronics technicians, mechanics, welders, heavy equipment operators, locks and dam operators, biologists, natural resource specialists, park rangers and support personnel in administrative and financial positions to carry out our missions. We have direct hiring authority for many of these positions and are hoping to make tentative job offers to accomplish this work,” said Jacques. HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. — A fight last Friday at a football game in Riviera Beach is resulting in big consequences for Clewiston High School athletes.

The officials called off Clewiston’s game at Inlet Grove because of players fighting.

Now the Clewiston High School football team has been suspended and is under investigation by the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA).

A punishment some students think is too much.

"I don't think they [Clewiston] should be suspended," a Clewiston student who wished not to be named said, recalling the fight.

The third quarter at Inlet Grove with Clewiston in the lead brought out the worst in both teams and has very real consequences.

The Florida High School Athletic Association suspended Clewiston's team, indefinitely pending the outcome of the investigation.

This is in a letter the Hendry County School District sent out to parents, students, and staff addressing the issue:

Clewiston High School (CHS) and the Hendry County School District (HCSD) expect the highest standards of conduct and sportsmanship from all student-athletes and coaches. The incident that took place last week at the varsity football game versus Inlet Grove High School does not reflect the standards nor the values of both Clewiston High and the Hendry County School District.

Hendry County School District

Some students believe the score of the game may have led to the initiation of the fight.

"I feel like our school is supposed to have been free and the other school is supposed to get suspended and not us," Amish Roberts, another Clewiston student said.

"The other team started throwing the first punch because they lost and now, they're getting mad," another unnamed Clewiston student said.

Roberts believes whoever threw the first punch should pay the biggest price.

Part of the letter sent out by the Hendry County School District says in part, "FHSAA has requested information from Clewiston High School to investigate the incident. The status of the last two regular season games remains unknown at this time."

"If they didn't start the fight, which I heard they didn't then they shouldn't get suspended, I think the other team should take full consequences," the first unnamed student said.

It's unclear at this point if Inlet Grove’s team will get suspended as well. We're waiting on the FHSAA response.

"Make it fair because they both fought. That's what they do in school if people fought, you're [both] going to get suspended, so suspend the whole team... both teams," Roberts said

CLEWISTON, Fla. — People came with resumes in hand as employers from many branches of the U.S Army Corps of Engineers were all eager to help people find new careers.

Clewiston resident, Timothy Collins, said that he was able to speak with representatives from heavy machinery and dam operations. After his interviews, Collins said that he feels confident in the opportunities that are being provided to the community.

“It feels good. It really seems like they want to make a change and want to give you the opportunity,” stated Collins.

As of August, of this year, the Bureau of Labor Statisitcs show that Hendry County’s unemployment rate is 6.2%. With so many people out of work, Collins said job fairs like this are crucial.

“It really does give people hope too. Because a lot of people don’t even have hope,” Collins said.

Even if attending the job fair today doesn’t lead to a new job, Collins thinks it’s important to come out and show interest at these events.

“There’s people that really need this type of stuff. Even if they don’t call me, you know what I mean, some people came today. And once the names go on that paper it shows that people are coming here - a they will keep hosting these,” Collins emphasized.

Greg Jones, the Chief of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers SWFL Operations Office, says that in addition to helping address the unemployment issue in the area, hiring locally is also better for the corps.

“We’ve been having difficulty recruiting people down here because, you know, it’s a bit of a higher cost of living. So, we’re interested in people that already have their roots here. I’ve been in management for over 10 years, so it’s always good to see folks that you were able to hire and watch them progress throughout their career,” said Jones.

With twenty-six people interviewed and five potential job offers on the table, Jones says its fulfilling to see people finding the work they need.
