What to Expect from P-Shot Therapy

Calla Genics' P-Shot procedure starts by extracting the patient's blood and concentrating the blood's healing factors (like stem cells and other growth factors). From there, the patient's white and red blood cells are separated in a centrifuge, which spins the blood at high speeds until it separates. From there, the patient's concentrated healing factors are injected into their penile region.

Calla Genics' P-Shot treatment is hassle-free and pain-free and can usually be completed in less than an hour right here at our P-shot clinic in Coconut Creek.

P-Shot Therapy and Botox for Erectile Dysfunction

For men with serious cases of erectile dysfunction, Calla Genics offers our P-Shot with the added bonus of Botox for increased effectiveness. We know what you're thinking: "Isn't Botox meant for women? I don't care about the wrinkles on my face; I just want help with my ED."

While it's true that Botox is most commonly associated with female anti-wrinkle treatment, researchers believe it can help with male ED as well. Botox—which is technically a bacterial toxin with the name botulinum—smooths out wrinkles by blocking nerve impulses that cause muscle contractions.

That same mechanism may help men achieve erections. Botox can interrupt the release of norepinephrine, which restricts blood flow. But it doesn't affect the release of nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is a crucial element in achieving an erection since it relaxes smooth muscle and causes blood to engorge the penis.

Because of the nature of Botox, research shows that it may give men enhanced erections for months. Older men with particularly severe ED may see the most significant improvements. As an added bonus, Botox may work for males who have physiological erectile dysfunction (caused by blood flow issues) and psychogenic ED (triggered by physiological factors).

P-Shot Treatment for Peyronie's Disease

While the P-Shot can work wonders for men experiencing performance and erectile issues, the P-Shot has other uses. One of the most important and revolutionary issues the P-Shot treats is called Peyronie's disease.

Found in nearly 10% of all men in the U.S., Peyronie's disease is a common problem that can affect a man's sexual activity and sex life. Essentially, Peyronie's disease is the medical label used to describe an abnormal curve or bend in a patient's penis. Though it's very common for a man to have a slight bend in their penis, men suffering from Peyronie's disease experience significant pain, especially when trying to achieve an erection. Because of the nature of the disease, Peyronie's is linked to male erectile dysfunction.

Peyronie's disease is often caused by a previous injury or damage to a man's penis via sexual intercourse or physical activity. Some of the most common symptoms of Peyronie's disease include:

  • Painful Erections
  • Unusually Soft Erections
  • Extreme Penis Curvature
  • Significant Difficulty Having Sexual Intercourse
  • Lumps Found in the Penis

Living with Peyronie's disease makes life quite difficult. Unfortunately, we're discovering that this malady is more prevalent than we once thought. That's probably because more and more men are coming forward to talk about their ED. We understand if you're suffering from Peyronie's disease but are reluctant to speak to a professional due to embarrassment. However, if you're sick and tired of living with Peyronie's and want to reclaim your sex life, Calla Genics' P-Shot may be the long-term solution you need.

The alternative to the P-Shot involves "traditional" treatments like penile stretching devices and penile implants, which sometimes involve vacuum technology and invasive procedures. If you're cringing a little just reading those words, Calla Genics' P-Shot is the way to go for Peyronie's disease treatment.

How Fast Does the P-Shot Work?

Results vary for every patient, but in general, many men discover relief soon after their first P-Shot treatment. If you're a man struggling to achieve and keep an erection, Calla Genics' P-Shot should help you almost immediately. Other enhancements, like more penis girth and size, can take longer.

What Side Effects Should I Know About?

Because our P-Shot treatment in Coconut Creek uses a patient's own blood, there is no risk for harmful side effects or allergic reactions. It's a pain-free treatment that we perform right here at our male sexual health center, and is usually over in 30 minutes or less.

How Much Does Calla Genics' P-Shot Cost?

Pricing varies depending on our patient's needs. Compared to other erectile dysfunction treatments, P-Shot therapy is relatively inexpensive. Since there are no oral medications or pills to take, patients don't have to worry about refilling prescriptions. The P-Shot is also much less expensive than surgical options, which require multiple doctor's appointments, follow-ups, and more.

The Benefits of Combining Gainswave and P-Shot Therapy in Coconut Creek, FL

Studies published via the International Society for Sexual Medicine found that Gainswave treatments display significant, positive results that can last as long as 12 months. And while low-intensity shockwave therapy is proven to provide significant improvement in erectile function, Gainswave doesn't have to be used all on its own.

For the most effective male enhancement treatment, many men are combining Calla Genics' Gainswave therapy with our P-Shot treatments. These two revolutionary ED treatments feed off one another to provide a doubly-beneficial effect. In medicine, we call it a synergistic effect.

The platelet-rich plasma from the P-Shot can help open up a patient's blood vessels in their penis. This can actually enhance the effectiveness of Gainswave therapy. Conversely, Gainswave treatments can help stimulate healing factors used in the P-Shot, essentially sending PRP deeper into a patient's damaged penis tissue.

How Bocox™ Can Help You!

Here at Calla Genics, we have now been doing the P-Shot® procedure for years with much success and with a significant body of medical research that supports the procedure. In the studies below, you will notice that we have added units of BOTOX, which the recommended dose showed effectiveness up to 6 months with maximal effect at 6 weeks.

The mechanism of action of BOTOX in the penis seems to be partly due to the relaxation of the smooth muscle of the arterioles, resulting in increased blood flow (and even in a small increase in length in one study). This increase in erection firmness by increasing arterial flow is exactly how Viagra and Tri-mix injections work. In two separate studies, the injection of BOTOX was helpful to some men (not all) for whom Viagra and Cialis had quit working.

BOTOX, at much higher doses, has been used for 2 decades for various problems with an extremely safe history. The P-Shot 100™ procedure is a specific method of injecting blood-derived growth factors, including platelet-rich plasma (or platelet-rich fibrin matrix) and botulinum neurotoxin, to improve the health of the penis and enhance the size or function of the penis. The procedure includes patient selection, method of preparation of materials, method of injection, aftercare, and more.

Suppose someone wants Botox alone injected into the penis. In that case, we have the Bocox™ (BoPriapus) procedure: a specific method of injecting the corpus cavernosi of the penis with botulinum neurotoxin (BoNT)–BOTOX– to improve penile tissue health and to enhance erectile function or penis size.

Our Guarantee: You will see results. If you are not pleased with the results of your procedure for any reason, you can get a full refund for the procedure for up to 3 months.

COCONUT CREEK — Coconut Creek senior quarterback James Hayes accounted for four first-half touchdowns as the host Cougars jumped out to a 42-0 halftime lead and rolled to a Region 3-3M regional quarterfinal victory over Piper on Friday night.

Hayes threw TD passes of 18, 29, and 66 yards and ran in another from 8 yards out to grab the 42-6 win and move on to next Friday’s regional semifinal where they will host West Boca Raton, a 23-22 upset winner against Atlantic in another quarterfinal.

“The coaching staff put us in the right positions to make plays and me and my teammates went out and executed the game plan,” said Hayes, who finished the game 11 of 16 for 190 yards, all in the first half. “It was really big for the defense to get those early takeaways because defense wins championships. We just fed off their energy and matched it by scoring each and every drive.”

The host Cougars (9-2) seeded third in the region, scored on their first six possessions and coasted to the victory.

“We beat West Boca before, but it just goes to show we can’t take any team lightly,” Hayes added. “Everybody is locked in now. Everybody prepares with film study, and it starts with the man above. We believe in God, and we believe in the process too.”

Coconut Creek coach Johnnie Sloan said his team played to their standard. A bit concerning is that three defensive starters left the game with injuries during the contest.

“Regardless of our opponent, I just want us to play our ball,” Sloan said. “We still got a little sloppy even though our dominance, so there are some things I’ve got to correct. Also, I got some boys banged up that I got to get healthy by next week. They are all dawgs. They’ll be back, so I ain’t worried. Overall, we did what I expected us to do.”

Coconut Creek opened the scoring by driving 8 plays, for 53 yards capped by an 8-yard run by Jamarie Hostzclaw for a 7-0 lead with 5:41 to go in the first quarter. The Cougars then capitalized on back-to-back turnovers by Piper (6-5) to break the game open.

A fumble recovery by Zanni Miller led to an 18-yard scoring toss from Hayes to Godson Sinelien just one play later to up the margin to 13-0. The Cougars’ Jaxon Norkunas intercepted a pass on Piper’s next series and Hayes scored on an 8-yard run for a 20-0 lead.

Hayes pushed the lead to 27-0 on a 29-yard TD pass to Eirik Simmons with 9:55 left in the first half. Hayes struck again, this time on a 66-yard TD toss to Sinelien for a 35-0 lead.

Coconut Creek added a 2-yard scoring run by Diovani Dominique with 2:51 left in the first half to extend the lead to 42-0 and force a second half running clock.

Piper avoided the shutout on a 30-yard TD pass from Christian Mata to Tyrik Caldwell with 4:22 left in the third quarter.

The Cougars topped West Boca Raton 42-28 earlier this season after rallying from a 12-0 first-half deficit.

“I already told them, next week we play Creek,” Sloan said. “It is always Creek versus Creek. I could care less who the opponent is, if we play our game, we’ll be alright. The only team that can be us is us. If we are locked in and focused, we’ll handle all of that stuff on the back end.

“My boys are mature now, where they weren’t two years ago,” said Sloan, whose team defeated Plantation 21-7 during the season and lost in the playoffs the second time around 42-7. “There is no celebration tonight. We’ve got to get back to work. All season long we’ve been putting on our boots and playing. This is not a week-by-week thing. I know we’ll be ready.”

COCONUT CREEK, FLA. (WSVN) - Coconut Creek Fire Rescue responded to a partial structural collapse at Atlantic Technical College, a high school and post-secondary institution within the Broward County Public School system.

Officials said the incident occurred Tuesday morning in a breezeway connecting two buildings at the campus located at 4700 Coconut Creek Parkway.

7Skyforce hovered over the scene, where part of the attached breezeway appeared to have caved in.

A student was studying in a nearby classroom and said he felt the building shake.

“When we got midway through the tech class, you could hear and feel the vibration through the school, feel it go down,” said Anthony Silvestri, and 11th grader.

Broward County Schools Superintendant Peter Licata was briefed on the situation and spoke to the media.

“Crews are on site. We’re trying to clear the debris as much as possible,” he said. “We had students make sure they stay away from that area, but it’s just an overweight of debris and removal of roofing construction in that area.”

Licata added that the information he provided to the public is all the knowledge he has of the incident so, the reports are subject to change.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection with the collapse.

But for a lot of students, like Silvestri, they just want to feel safe.

“A lot of students are really worried now because now we’re all questioning the condition of our school and our school roof, because we’ve been having a lot of leaks in the school with out classrooms,” he said.

Neeta Rancourt, principal at ATC, released the following statement, which reads as follows, “I want to assure you all students and staff are safe – and the area has been secured. There were no injuries involved, as there were no students or staff in the immediate area at the time of the incident.”

The Broward County Public School district is actively working to determine the appropriate course of action for the campus.

Coconut Creek Takes Step to Set Limits on Size of MainStreet Coconut Creek Project

COCONUT CREEK, FL – In taking the first steps to rezone land set aside for the massive MainStreet Coconut Creek project, city elected leaders this week set limits on how big the project could be.

A series of votes taken on Thursday night by city commissioners would put a cap on the number of multi-family residential units at 2,360 in the development planned on nearly 200 acres of former farmland stretching between State Road 7 and Lyons Road and between Wiles Road and Sample Road.

In addition, the commission’s votes would restrict the size of commercial space to 225,000-square-feet.

These restrictions -- if approved in final votes next month -- would end decades of debating and planning on the size and scale of the project.

In the past, plans allowed for 3,750 housing units, 1.6 million-square-feet of commercial space and 525,000-square-feet of office space, according to the city land code.

The team representing four development companies planning to buy and construct on the land has said their project is much smaller than those proposed over the decades.

The reason, developers said: Coconut Creek residents and city officials want a smaller-scale project that would cause less traffic and congestion in the city.

During Thursday’s meeting, commissioners talked about wanting to restrict the height of some of MainStreet Coconut Creek’s housing buildings to seven floors.

But several commissioners said they would consider allowing developers to go to eight-floors if the bottom floors had restaurants or other retail, a concept known as “mixed use” development.

Commissioner Jackie Railey said she didn’t support “mixed use” construction there.

Talk also turned to schools for MainStreet Coconut Creek’s population, which city officials say could be around 5,000 people while Commissioner John Brodie suspects the number could be as many as 8,000 to 10,000 people.

Developers said they have spoken to operators of three charter schools about constructing a school on the southern part of the property closer to Sample Road.

But they said the available land isn’t large enough to make it financially feasible to build a school, so commissioners suggested allowing some of the city’s parking space near Seminole Casino Coconut Creek to be used for a possible school.

Commissioner Jeff Wesserman said, though, he won’t support building a charter school there out of concerns that charter schools take students away from traditional schools.

Final decisions on the height of the buildings and a possible charter school, though, are still months away, if not longer, as the project is now in the early zoning and land use development stages.

Students, staff shaken after walkway roof collapses at Atlantic Technical College in Coconut Creek

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. – A roof covering a walkway collapsed Tuesday morning at the Atlantic Technical College campus in Coconut Creek. No one was hurt.

Officials said there was construction going on in that portion of the campus, located at 4700 Coconut Creek Parkway, when the roof caved in.

Broward County Public Schools operates the college. The district’s superintendent, Peter Licata, said that an excessive amount of debris and roofing construction material weighed on the roof and led it to collapse.

“There’s a roof construction project going (on) and as they’re unloading, or putting a weight to dispose of, as they’re going through, that roof collapsed in a hallway,” Licata said. “Again, students were not present and no one was injured.”

Students were shaken by the collapse. Brooke Starler, a senior at the campus’s high school, described what she felt and heard.

“The building was shaking. And it sounded like something was cracking,” Starler said. “And then the roof fell.”

Although the district told Local 10 News in a statement that “there were no students or staff in the immediate area at the time of the incident,” Starler said a teacher had just walked past the area. She said as the teacher turned to speak to a colleague, the roof “caved in” right in front of her.

“She started screaming to like get help, just in case there was anybody underneath,” Starler said.

Anna Fusco, who heads Broward’s teachers union, said some staffers were rattled by the close call.

“It doesn’t seem (like) it’s safe to go in,” Fusco said. “Staff would like to know they’re going to come up with a better contingency plan when there is this type of construction.”

Cleanup continued into the afternoon.

Starler said the district should “work on the school and we’re not here so that we can ensure that the students and the staff are safe.”

“While the District is continuing to review all the circumstances regarding this incident, we are grateful that no one was injured,” a district spokesperson said in a statement Tuesday evening. “Per the principal, the school was placed on a Hold Status for approximately two hours – from about 8:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. (It was not on a lockdown and the emergency status was not in place for the duration of the school day).”
