What to Expect from P-Shot Therapy

Calla Genics' P-Shot procedure starts by extracting the patient's blood and concentrating the blood's healing factors (like stem cells and other growth factors). From there, the patient's white and red blood cells are separated in a centrifuge, which spins the blood at high speeds until it separates. From there, the patient's concentrated healing factors are injected into their penile region.

Calla Genics' P-Shot treatment is hassle-free and pain-free and can usually be completed in less than an hour right here at our P-shot clinic in Parkland.

P-Shot Therapy and Botox for Erectile Dysfunction

For men with serious cases of erectile dysfunction, Calla Genics offers our P-Shot with the added bonus of Botox for increased effectiveness. We know what you're thinking: "Isn't Botox meant for women? I don't care about the wrinkles on my face; I just want help with my ED."

While it's true that Botox is most commonly associated with female anti-wrinkle treatment, researchers believe it can help with male ED as well. Botox—which is technically a bacterial toxin with the name botulinum—smooths out wrinkles by blocking nerve impulses that cause muscle contractions.

That same mechanism may help men achieve erections. Botox can interrupt the release of norepinephrine, which restricts blood flow. But it doesn't affect the release of nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is a crucial element in achieving an erection since it relaxes smooth muscle and causes blood to engorge the penis.

Because of the nature of Botox, research shows that it may give men enhanced erections for months. Older men with particularly severe ED may see the most significant improvements. As an added bonus, Botox may work for males who have physiological erectile dysfunction (caused by blood flow issues) and psychogenic ED (triggered by physiological factors).

P-Shot Treatment for Peyronie's Disease

While the P-Shot can work wonders for men experiencing performance and erectile issues, the P-Shot has other uses. One of the most important and revolutionary issues the P-Shot treats is called Peyronie's disease.

Found in nearly 10% of all men in the U.S., Peyronie's disease is a common problem that can affect a man's sexual activity and sex life. Essentially, Peyronie's disease is the medical label used to describe an abnormal curve or bend in a patient's penis. Though it's very common for a man to have a slight bend in their penis, men suffering from Peyronie's disease experience significant pain, especially when trying to achieve an erection. Because of the nature of the disease, Peyronie's is linked to male erectile dysfunction.

Peyronie's disease is often caused by a previous injury or damage to a man's penis via sexual intercourse or physical activity. Some of the most common symptoms of Peyronie's disease include:

  • Painful Erections
  • Unusually Soft Erections
  • Extreme Penis Curvature
  • Significant Difficulty Having Sexual Intercourse
  • Lumps Found in the Penis

Living with Peyronie's disease makes life quite difficult. Unfortunately, we're discovering that this malady is more prevalent than we once thought. That's probably because more and more men are coming forward to talk about their ED. We understand if you're suffering from Peyronie's disease but are reluctant to speak to a professional due to embarrassment. However, if you're sick and tired of living with Peyronie's and want to reclaim your sex life, Calla Genics' P-Shot may be the long-term solution you need.

The alternative to the P-Shot involves "traditional" treatments like penile stretching devices and penile implants, which sometimes involve vacuum technology and invasive procedures. If you're cringing a little just reading those words, Calla Genics' P-Shot is the way to go for Peyronie's disease treatment.

How Fast Does the P-Shot Work?

Results vary for every patient, but in general, many men discover relief soon after their first P-Shot treatment. If you're a man struggling to achieve and keep an erection, Calla Genics' P-Shot should help you almost immediately. Other enhancements, like more penis girth and size, can take longer.

What Side Effects Should I Know About?

Because our P-Shot treatment in Parkland uses a patient's own blood, there is no risk for harmful side effects or allergic reactions. It's a pain-free treatment that we perform right here at our male sexual health center, and is usually over in 30 minutes or less.

How Much Does Calla Genics' P-Shot Cost?

Pricing varies depending on our patient's needs. Compared to other erectile dysfunction treatments, P-Shot therapy is relatively inexpensive. Since there are no oral medications or pills to take, patients don't have to worry about refilling prescriptions. The P-Shot is also much less expensive than surgical options, which require multiple doctor's appointments, follow-ups, and more.

The Benefits of Combining Gainswave and P-Shot Therapy in Parkland, FL

Studies published via the International Society for Sexual Medicine found that Gainswave treatments display significant, positive results that can last as long as 12 months. And while low-intensity shockwave therapy is proven to provide significant improvement in erectile function, Gainswave doesn't have to be used all on its own.

For the most effective male enhancement treatment, many men are combining Calla Genics' Gainswave therapy with our P-Shot treatments. These two revolutionary ED treatments feed off one another to provide a doubly-beneficial effect. In medicine, we call it a synergistic effect.

The platelet-rich plasma from the P-Shot can help open up a patient's blood vessels in their penis. This can actually enhance the effectiveness of Gainswave therapy. Conversely, Gainswave treatments can help stimulate healing factors used in the P-Shot, essentially sending PRP deeper into a patient's damaged penis tissue.

How Bocox™ Can Help You!

Here at Calla Genics, we have now been doing the P-Shot® procedure for years with much success and with a significant body of medical research that supports the procedure. In the studies below, you will notice that we have added units of BOTOX, which the recommended dose showed effectiveness up to 6 months with maximal effect at 6 weeks.

The mechanism of action of BOTOX in the penis seems to be partly due to the relaxation of the smooth muscle of the arterioles, resulting in increased blood flow (and even in a small increase in length in one study). This increase in erection firmness by increasing arterial flow is exactly how Viagra and Tri-mix injections work. In two separate studies, the injection of BOTOX was helpful to some men (not all) for whom Viagra and Cialis had quit working.

BOTOX, at much higher doses, has been used for 2 decades for various problems with an extremely safe history. The P-Shot 100™ procedure is a specific method of injecting blood-derived growth factors, including platelet-rich plasma (or platelet-rich fibrin matrix) and botulinum neurotoxin, to improve the health of the penis and enhance the size or function of the penis. The procedure includes patient selection, method of preparation of materials, method of injection, aftercare, and more.

Suppose someone wants Botox alone injected into the penis. In that case, we have the Bocox™ (BoPriapus) procedure: a specific method of injecting the corpus cavernosi of the penis with botulinum neurotoxin (BoNT)–BOTOX– to improve penile tissue health and to enhance erectile function or penis size.

Our Guarantee: You will see results. If you are not pleased with the results of your procedure for any reason, you can get a full refund for the procedure for up to 3 months.

PARKLAND, FLA. (WSVN) - A single-engine Cessna C-150 plane made an emergency landing on a Broward County road.

The plane came down at around 3:35 p.m. Monday, in the area of Nob Hill Road and Hillsboro Boulevard in Parkland. The flight took off from Pompano Beach Airpark and experienced some difficulties with the engine, causing it to make an emergency landing.

The pilot crashed into a tree during the landing, resulting in some damage to the wing and the propellers of the plane.

Cellphone video shows the plane dodging cars as it made its way safely onto the ground.

The plane, bearing the logo of the XFlight Aeronautical Company, belongs to a business with an office in Pompano Beach that was closed on Monday afternoon.

Officials said two people were on board the plane and one of the occupants suffered a minor laceration.

The two people are experienced pilots who were trying to get hours flying around the Everglades and West Broward.

The father of one of the pilots on board spoke to 7News and said the cause appeared to be engine failure.

“The pilots did. My daughter was actually flying in the right seat. I gotta go,” said one of the pilot’s father.

The plane cannot fly out of the crash scene because of the damage to its wings so it was towed away.

Coral Springs Fire Rescue said crews needed to take the plane apart so it can be towed away.

Residents in the area where stunned to see where the plane had landed.

“I looked over in my backyard and I saw the plane going down,” said Joshua Fliegel, who lives nearby. “My house is right there so if it just kept going, I would have a plane in my yard, a plane in my swimming pool.”

“And it hit the curb and it bounced off,” said Tyler Boothe, who also lives nearby.

“I was in shock,” said another neighbor.

Hillsboro Boulevard was shut down just east of Nob Hill Road in Parkland but has since been reopened.

“It’s pretty impressive they were able to make it over the traffic signals and safely onto the the roadway,” said Coral Springs Fire Rescue Deputy Chief Mike Moser.

The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board arrived on the scene Monday afternoon to begin an investigation.

PARKLAND, FL- The City of Parkland hosted a presentation by the South Florida Wildlife Center last week, which could lead to a partnership with the Fort Lauderdale-based nonprofit organization.

The South Florida Wildlife Center is the largest Wildlife Hospital in the State of Florida, whose mission is to "protect wildlife through rescue, rehabilitation, and education."

The Fort Lauderdale location of the South Florida Wildlife Center took in over 9,000 animals in 2023 alone, including mammals, reptiles, and birds. The Wildlife Center aims to rehabilitate and release animals back in into the wild if possible, but often times animals are injured or damaged in some capacity and would not be able to survive in the wild, thus making the South Florida Wildlife Center their permanent home.

"We want to rescue and rehabilitate all of the sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. The goal is to release them back into the wild," says Alessandra Medri, Executive Director of the South Florida Wildlife Center.

Medri says that while 79% of their animals come from Broward County, 21% are brought to the Center from around the State of Florida.

"We have had people coming to us from Ocala, from the West Coast, from the Panhandle, just to bring animals to us. Why? Because we have the best doctors. For example, we can perform a surgery on a bald eagle. We are adjacent to the Everglades, so we get exposure to a tremendous amount of biodiversity."

The partnership between the City of Parkland and the South Florida Wildlife Center would involve a 6-acre parcel of City-owned land at the northwest corner of Loxahatchee Road in Parkland, which is perfectly adjacent to the Everglades.

The location would likely end up hosting at two buildings on the property, which would include a small visitor's center and the wildlife center building itself. The combined square footage of the buildings would be around 12,000 square feet on the six acre property.

"This is an exciting opportunity to consider," said Parkland City Commissioner Simeon Brier. "We've been seeking a valuable use for this piece of property, and this could be a partnership that would be beneficial to the Parkland community, our residents and young people, and the natural environment as well."

By Bryan Boggiano

Starting from October 30, the Loxahatchee Road improvement projects will result in road closures that are anticipated to last until at least February 2024.

During this period, the section of Loxahatchee Road between University Drive and Parkside Drive will be closed for a minimum of four months and potentially longer.

The news comes ahead of an October 23 Florida Department of Transportation virtual meeting scheduled between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Registration is open.

According to the city, road closures are a part of a larger-scale project to improve safety, increase accessibility to Arthur R. Marshall National Wildlife Refuge, and make ADA-related improvements.

The project is a collaboration between multiple agencies, including FDOT, the county, the Broward County Metropolitan Planning Organization, and the city. Parkland’s cost for the project is less than $2 million out of the $37 million total cost. The city’s portion of the project is about one out of roughly six miles of the total project.

Project components include widening travel lanes, installing bike lanes in both directions, installing a sidewalk on the road’s southern end, inserting a new guardrail on the road’s northern end, and placing medians as a means to calm traffic.

There will also be three roundabouts at Parkside Drive, University Drive, and Nob Hill Road. Project components do not include adding any lanes.

Loxahatchee Road’s construction is set to begin before year’s end and continue through at least 2027. Through that period, partial and complete road closures are expected, with most full road closures occurring through mid-2025.

At that time, night work is expected between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. except for places east of Parkside Drive. Loxahatchee Road will remain open for local traffic and for neighborhoods where the roadway serves as the only access route.

At an October 18 city commission meeting, Mayor Rich Walker echoed these points, warning that further road closures are likely and recommending only local traffic use Loxahatchee Road.

Walker said he acknowledges it will be a long three years for residents, but he said residents and commuters have to adapt.

“I know that’s a tough pill to swallow, but that’s the one we have to take,” Walker said.

By Martin Lenkowsky

Chabad of Parkland founder and Executive Vice President Rabbi Yosef Y. Biston describes their recent purchase of a 100-acre facility in Central Florida as something Florida needs.

The new site will serve as the permanent home for Dovi’s Camp Gan Israel.

The camp, which can accommodate up to 600 children, has been named in memory of Dovi Fellig, who was 17 years old and the son of Rabbi Schneur Zalman and Mimi Fellig, who were donors to the camp. It will be utilized for two summer and two winter camping sessions.

The campsite is located in Fruitland Park, just north of Orlando, on the shores of Lake Geneva. The campsite offers a range of amenities, including a 200-foot beachfront, a spring-fed lake, an Olympic-size swimming pool, a fully-equipped indoor gymnasium (spanning over 5,000 square feet with three full-length basketball courts), and a large auditorium (spread over 10,000 square feet).

According to Biston, Chabad has been organizing overnight camps in Central Florida since 1978 by renting facilities. Although they have acquired their own establishment in Lake Worth, it is not big enough to cater to the growing demand. Biston also mentioned that the camps have been successful in attracting kids from other states, including California.

The newly purchased property was the site of an existing camp called Camp Geneva, which was used as a rental facility. “I bought the place to have it for myself,” the rabbi said. “It’s our own place. We can call it our own.”

The 100-acre site boasts 26 buildings, a nature trail, zip-lining, a ropes course, and three illuminated fields, including beach volleyball.

There are two separate summer sessions: four-week July and three-week August sessions. The first session begins on July 2 this year. There are two 10-day sessions during the winter. A girls’ session is held in December; a boys’ session is held in January.

With its new, spacious campsite, Biston says they could double camp enrollment. “With the growth in Florida,” there’s a tremendous need,” he said.

Biston feels the Jewish education they receive in camp is even better than the one they get in school. “Here they’re living Judaism 24-7 in a fun way,” he says, adding that during camp, they can study Torah, learn Jewish songs, and enjoy all the camp amenities. Whereas, in regular school, they have other courses they have to take.

Chabad of Parkland purchased the property for $5 million with the help of donations. Additional donations are welcome for those interested in having a building or campus named after them.
