What to Expect from P-Shot Therapy

Calla Genics' P-Shot procedure starts by extracting the patient's blood and concentrating the blood's healing factors (like stem cells and other growth factors). From there, the patient's white and red blood cells are separated in a centrifuge, which spins the blood at high speeds until it separates. From there, the patient's concentrated healing factors are injected into their penile region.

Calla Genics' P-Shot treatment is hassle-free and pain-free and can usually be completed in less than an hour right here at our P-shot clinic in Greenacres.

P-Shot Therapy and Botox for Erectile Dysfunction

For men with serious cases of erectile dysfunction, Calla Genics offers our P-Shot with the added bonus of Botox for increased effectiveness. We know what you're thinking: "Isn't Botox meant for women? I don't care about the wrinkles on my face; I just want help with my ED."

While it's true that Botox is most commonly associated with female anti-wrinkle treatment, researchers believe it can help with male ED as well. Botox—which is technically a bacterial toxin with the name botulinum—smooths out wrinkles by blocking nerve impulses that cause muscle contractions.

That same mechanism may help men achieve erections. Botox can interrupt the release of norepinephrine, which restricts blood flow. But it doesn't affect the release of nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is a crucial element in achieving an erection since it relaxes smooth muscle and causes blood to engorge the penis.

Because of the nature of Botox, research shows that it may give men enhanced erections for months. Older men with particularly severe ED may see the most significant improvements. As an added bonus, Botox may work for males who have physiological erectile dysfunction (caused by blood flow issues) and psychogenic ED (triggered by physiological factors).

P-Shot Treatment for Peyronie's Disease

While the P-Shot can work wonders for men experiencing performance and erectile issues, the P-Shot has other uses. One of the most important and revolutionary issues the P-Shot treats is called Peyronie's disease.

Found in nearly 10% of all men in the U.S., Peyronie's disease is a common problem that can affect a man's sexual activity and sex life. Essentially, Peyronie's disease is the medical label used to describe an abnormal curve or bend in a patient's penis. Though it's very common for a man to have a slight bend in their penis, men suffering from Peyronie's disease experience significant pain, especially when trying to achieve an erection. Because of the nature of the disease, Peyronie's is linked to male erectile dysfunction.

Peyronie's disease is often caused by a previous injury or damage to a man's penis via sexual intercourse or physical activity. Some of the most common symptoms of Peyronie's disease include:

  • Painful Erections
  • Unusually Soft Erections
  • Extreme Penis Curvature
  • Significant Difficulty Having Sexual Intercourse
  • Lumps Found in the Penis

Living with Peyronie's disease makes life quite difficult. Unfortunately, we're discovering that this malady is more prevalent than we once thought. That's probably because more and more men are coming forward to talk about their ED. We understand if you're suffering from Peyronie's disease but are reluctant to speak to a professional due to embarrassment. However, if you're sick and tired of living with Peyronie's and want to reclaim your sex life, Calla Genics' P-Shot may be the long-term solution you need.

The alternative to the P-Shot involves "traditional" treatments like penile stretching devices and penile implants, which sometimes involve vacuum technology and invasive procedures. If you're cringing a little just reading those words, Calla Genics' P-Shot is the way to go for Peyronie's disease treatment.

How Fast Does the P-Shot Work?

Results vary for every patient, but in general, many men discover relief soon after their first P-Shot treatment. If you're a man struggling to achieve and keep an erection, Calla Genics' P-Shot should help you almost immediately. Other enhancements, like more penis girth and size, can take longer.

What Side Effects Should I Know About?

Because our P-Shot treatment in Greenacres uses a patient's own blood, there is no risk for harmful side effects or allergic reactions. It's a pain-free treatment that we perform right here at our male sexual health center, and is usually over in 30 minutes or less.

How Much Does Calla Genics' P-Shot Cost?

Pricing varies depending on our patient's needs. Compared to other erectile dysfunction treatments, P-Shot therapy is relatively inexpensive. Since there are no oral medications or pills to take, patients don't have to worry about refilling prescriptions. The P-Shot is also much less expensive than surgical options, which require multiple doctor's appointments, follow-ups, and more.

The Benefits of Combining Gainswave and P-Shot Therapy in Greenacres, FL

Studies published via the International Society for Sexual Medicine found that Gainswave treatments display significant, positive results that can last as long as 12 months. And while low-intensity shockwave therapy is proven to provide significant improvement in erectile function, Gainswave doesn't have to be used all on its own.

For the most effective male enhancement treatment, many men are combining Calla Genics' Gainswave therapy with our P-Shot treatments. These two revolutionary ED treatments feed off one another to provide a doubly-beneficial effect. In medicine, we call it a synergistic effect.

The platelet-rich plasma from the P-Shot can help open up a patient's blood vessels in their penis. This can actually enhance the effectiveness of Gainswave therapy. Conversely, Gainswave treatments can help stimulate healing factors used in the P-Shot, essentially sending PRP deeper into a patient's damaged penis tissue.

How Bocox™ Can Help You!

Here at Calla Genics, we have now been doing the P-Shot® procedure for years with much success and with a significant body of medical research that supports the procedure. In the studies below, you will notice that we have added units of BOTOX, which the recommended dose showed effectiveness up to 6 months with maximal effect at 6 weeks.

The mechanism of action of BOTOX in the penis seems to be partly due to the relaxation of the smooth muscle of the arterioles, resulting in increased blood flow (and even in a small increase in length in one study). This increase in erection firmness by increasing arterial flow is exactly how Viagra and Tri-mix injections work. In two separate studies, the injection of BOTOX was helpful to some men (not all) for whom Viagra and Cialis had quit working.

BOTOX, at much higher doses, has been used for 2 decades for various problems with an extremely safe history. The P-Shot 100™ procedure is a specific method of injecting blood-derived growth factors, including platelet-rich plasma (or platelet-rich fibrin matrix) and botulinum neurotoxin, to improve the health of the penis and enhance the size or function of the penis. The procedure includes patient selection, method of preparation of materials, method of injection, aftercare, and more.

Suppose someone wants Botox alone injected into the penis. In that case, we have the Bocox™ (BoPriapus) procedure: a specific method of injecting the corpus cavernosi of the penis with botulinum neurotoxin (BoNT)–BOTOX– to improve penile tissue health and to enhance erectile function or penis size.

Our Guarantee: You will see results. If you are not pleased with the results of your procedure for any reason, you can get a full refund for the procedure for up to 3 months.

GREENACRES, Fla. —

The Property Enhancement Grant Program allows home and business owners to get 50% of renovation projects reimbursed up to $5,000.

“It’s the roof. It’s paint. It’s a brand new door, brand new windows," said Greenacres Mayor Joel Flores. "It could be landscaping. It could be fixing your driveway. It’s anything that’s facing toward the street.”

This is the fourth year the City has offered the program. The $100,000 allocation for the grants comes from the City's budget. Initially, $50,000 is set aside for residents and $50,000 is set aside for businesses, but whatever is leftover from businesses is put toward the residential allocation.

“Our residents want to feel proud of where they live, and Greenacres is an older community; we’re about to be 100 years old, so there are some areas that really need investment and this program allows residents to take pride in their property,” Flores said.

Janet Tighe has lived in her Greenacres home for 39 years and just submitted her application for the grant for a third time.

“I can maintain, and my house looks nice, and I’m proud of it, but I wouldn’t have been able to do it on my own,” Tighe said.

She was able to install hurricane windows, replace her fence and fix her roof.

Applications must be emailed to the program coordinator Aileen Hernandez at ahernandez@greenacresfl.gov by March 1, 2024.

You can click here for the application or pick one up at City Hall.

The Sarasota-based company announced it has the mostly vacant site at 5234 S. Haverhill Road under contract from Palm Beach Christian Preparatory School. It’s located just south of Tradewinds Middle School.

Trending: Massive development at Boca Raton Innovation Campus moves forward after city approval

The Pickleball Club plans to develop the site with a 41,140-square-foot facility with 16 indoor pickleball courts, three covered outdoor courts, two bocce ball courts, a 3,850-square-foot player’s lounge, a pro shop, and a café. There would be 184 parking spaces.

The company plans to break ground in June 2024 and open the facility in summer 2025.

“From our very first interaction with Greenacres leadership, when they reached out to us, we knew we had an ideal governmental partner,” stated Brian McCarthy, CEO of the Pickleball Club. “Greenacres is a superb location for us, with over a million people living within a 25-minute average drive from the location.”

The Pickleball Club opened its first location in Sarasota in May, and it has nearly 600 members, according to the company. It has new clubs planned in Orlando, Port St. Lucie, Bonita Springs, Fort Myers, the Villages, Pinellas Park and Venice. The clubs will have a one-time initiation fee and then a monthly membership fee.

Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the United States. Many of the public courts in South Florida are extremely busy and have long wait times, and afternoon showers often wash out games.

GREENACRES, Fla. (CBS12) — The alleged driver in a fatal New Year's Eve collision with a 91-year-old pedestrian in Greenacres was found in Desoto County, and a newly released document states two other people were passengers in the car, one of them a young child, at the time of the impact.

The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office (PBSO) news release stated 45-year-old Oscar Cruz Fuenleal was the driver of the suspect vehicle, a 2002-2007 gray or silver Jeep Liberty, and is charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving death. Two people were listed in the crash report as passengers in the car, Deisi Lopez Hernandez, 33, and a four-year-old girl.

The exact relationships of the occupants in the Jeep Liberty were not disclosed; yet, each of their addresses are listed on the crash report as the same Greenacres home.

Just past 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve, Fuenleal approached an intersection as the victim, Illodia Phadael of Lake Worth, was trying to cross. She was pronounced dead roughly an hour after the impact, according to officials.

Early on in the investigation, a different car was considered as being involved in the hit-and-run.

Further updates clarified this other car, a Nissan Murano, was a possible witness to the incident. The PBSO still asked the public for help in finding and identifying the driver of this vehicle of interest while the search for the suspect car continued.

After over a week of searching, authorities apprehended the Jeep Liberty and Fuenleal in Desoto County and booked him into jail Sunday evening.

GREENACRES, Fla. — A local Cuban artist used his talents to create a wall mural in Greenacres. This was a collaboration effort with the city as they've launched an initiative to display art in public places.

The mural is painted on the outside of wall of the racquetball courts, and city leaders tell me they hope it'll improve the visual quality of public spaces.

This colorful mural at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park off Jog Road was done by local artist Anthony Hernandez.

"I was born in Cuba, raised in Chicago, and living here in West Palm for about 24 to 25 years now," Hernandez said.

It's been a passion of his since he was a kid.

"As long as I can remember, I think my mother said that drawing and painting kept me calm," Hernandez said.

The mural is the first of its kind in the city of Greenacres. Hernandez said he hopes it'll bring out more people to the park.

"You have a couple of people while I was doing the mural, they would always come in the morning and see my progress. So I decided to paint their silhouettes there. There's a lady with a dog over there, and she would come here every morning and see how I was doing, so it's kind of homage to the people in the park," Hernandez said.

The mural is part of the city's new initiative of art in public places.

"We went through a visioning and strategic action plan and found that art in public places really does add to the quality of life of residents," said City Manager Andrea McCue.

“Art in public places was a vision of mine when I took office and I’m thankful we were able to start this program. My hope is that we continue to enrich the lives of our residents," said Mayor Joel Flores.

Mccue said the mural represents the diversity in the community as well as those who love the outdoors, and a girl as it's focal point.

"That represents community, family and children. There's an interaction. The girl who is actually on the wall will be tapping the shoulder of the person sitting there. So, like i said, it is an interactive piece," McCue said.

The brush strokes don't stop here as the city is planning to do more on blank spaces.

A multi-day severe storm outbreak will dominate the weather headlines from the Lower Great Lakes to the southern Plains, Mid-Atlantic, and Gulf Coast through the homestretch of the workweek. Large, damaging hail, high winds, and strong tornadoes could be a repetitive occurrence each day.

A warm, very humid air mass and eastern part of a robust upper-level disturbance will combine to trigger plenty of downpours and strong to severe thunderstorms from the Lower Great Lakes into the Ohio and Tennessee valleys this afternoon and evening.

Tornado Watches are in effect from southern Illinois to Lower Michigan, western Ohio, and western and central Kentucky, including Toledo, Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, and Findlay, Ohio, Fort Wayne, South Bend, Indianapolis, and Terre Haute, Ind., and Louisville, Bowling Green and Paducah, Ky.

The government’s Storm Prediction Center has maintained an Enhanced Risk for a corridor of potentially organized severe weather across much of the Ohio Valley. Cities in this severe weather danger zone include Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Ind., Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio, and Louisville, Ky. Very large, damaging hail, gusty winds up to 70 mph, and a few strong tornadoes could accompany the more intense thunderstorm activity today.

Surrounding this elevated zone is quite a large area from Detroit to Chicago at the northern fringe, to near Cape Girardeau, Mo., to Charleston, W. Va., which will need to keep a watchful eye to the sky for powerful thunderstorms as well. Just like their Ohio Valley neighbors, all severe weather risks will be in play during this afternoon and evening.

Part of the same storm will regroup for midweek, paving the way for new low pressure to develop across the Middle Mississippi Valley by afternoon and evening. This time, a warm, very humid air mass south of the storm’s warm front and east of the storm’s cold front will interact with a series of weak disturbances at high altitudes in the atmosphere. This will likely lead to another severe storm outbreak from the southern Ohio to Tennessee and Lower Mississippi valleys.

A large Enhanced Risk exists from southeastern Oklahoma and southern and south-central Missouri to far southwestern West Virginia, western Virginia, and far western North Carolina. Fort Smith to Little Rock, Ark., Memphis to Nashville and Knoxville, Tenn., Louisville and Lexington-Fayette, Ky., and St. Louis, are all found in this heightened severe danger zone on Wednesday. Individual, lines or clusters of thunderstorms will motor across these locations throughout the afternoon and evening.

By predawn on Thursday, a lengthy line of robust thunderstorms could stretch from the western Carolina Piedmont to northern Louisiana and far northeastern Texas. This means the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex to Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham, N.C., could be peppered by damaging wind gusts, large hail, and even a few tornadoes. Just north of the Interstate 70 corridor from Missouri to far western Ohio will also need to have a way to receive severe weather alerts.

The storm system will accelerate across the Mid-Atlantic throughout Thursday. This will drive the attached cold front east of the Appalachian Spine, as well as across the Deep South and Gulf Coast. Baltimore and Washington, D.C., to Raleigh-Durham, N.C., Columbia, S.C., Atlanta, Dothan and Mobile, Ala., Alexandria and Shreveport, La., Lufkin, Waco, and Austin, Texas, are some bigger cities that might have to deal with big thunderstorms. Large hail and damaging wind gusts are the primary risks, but a tornado or two will be possible as well.

Thunderstorms will be repetitive for many these next few days, which means the flooding risk will certainly increase. One-half inch to locally 2 to 3 inches will soak the Ohio and Tennessee valleys to the Southeast and Deep South. If you approach a flooded roadway, it is best to follow simple advise: “Turn, Around, Don’t Drown!”

The best way to remain safe is to stay prepared and informed about your local weather. Have a severe weather kit packed with a battery-operated radio, water and non-perishable food items should you be without power for long periods of time. Also, check the WeatherBug app frequently for any updates on today’s severe weather. Remember, “When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors!”
